Our mission & vision
The Wyoming County Business Education Council strengthens partnerships between schools, businesses, and the community to prepare students for success in the workforce and in life.
We connect students to meaningful, local opportunities that build real-world skills, support career readiness, and cultivate a strong sense of civic responsibility.
We envision a Wyoming County where every student sees a future for themselves locally—where strong students become engaged citizens, skilled employees, and community leaders.
We believe that great citizens make great employees, and that when young people are connected to opportunities in their own communities, rural communities grow stronger and more sustainable.
Our Approach & Impact
Lasting impact happens through strong partnerships. The BEC works closely with schools, businesses, and community organizations to create meaningful, real-world opportunities for students.
Through these partnerships, we connect students to career experiences, support educators in bringing learning to life, and help employers build a strong local workforce.
As we continue to grow, our focus is on expanding access to career-connected learning, strengthening regional collaboration, and increasing opportunities that allow students to explore, learn, and lead right here in Wyoming County.
We invite our community to be part of this work—because when we invest in students, we invest in the future of Wyoming County.
